Newport Polo is pleased to announce that registration is now open for teams to enter the USPA Northeast Amateur Cup Arena Polo Tournament to be held at its outdoor arena & training facility in Newport County, Rhode Island.

About the Tournament:
The USPA Northeast Circuit Amateur Cup arena polo tournament is a regional competition intended to provide a highly competitive format for arena polo players looking to continue their season during the best time in New England to still play outdoors, on a peak Rhode Island Fall Foliage weekend! The newly resurfaced regulation outdoor arena offers great, reliable footing and 3-season, fast, competitive polo in all types of weather conditions..
Team registration and tournament match schedule: Team Registration closes at 5pm on Friday, Oct. 19. The Tournament Entry Fee is $300/team, which will include lunch and refreshments Sat/Sun, and Saturday night Asado for all the players. Tournament brackets and schedule will be determined by midweek advanced draw, live on Facebook. Prizes will be awarded to the winners. The tournament will be officiated by USPA certified umpires. The complete schedule will be finalized once all the teams have registered. Register early for one of 6 team positions.
- Saturday, Oct. 27 - Competition Rounds; evening on-site dinner
- Sunday, Oct. 28 - Consolation & Final, and trophy presentation including the perpetual cup, MVP & Best Playing Pony awards
Registrations are not complete without all players’ waivers and tournament entry fee by the registration deadline.
